Interviews, Interviews, Interviews...

At the moment Juliana Pasha is at the "Eurovision in Concert" in Amesterdam and promoting her ESC song alongside 18 other ESC 2010 contestants. Before the concert she gave several interviews to different pages and programmes.
The first Interview is from a dutch site, called shownieuws.tv, in which Juliana, Milan from Serbia and Filipa from Portugal state their thoughts about this year's dutch entry and sing live a little snippet of their own songs.

She gives a second interview to Esctoday.com, in which she talks about what she is expecting and hoping for the outcome of the scoreboard this year. She seems quite aware of being a "favourite" and is not shy to mention she wants to win this competition. ->

And there we have the last interview for now, which she gave to escdaily.com.Winning at the National Final was a surprise for her and the stage performance in Oslo is still a secret. She is fan of Portugal's and Belgium's songs. (Look at her smiling in Video one when Filipa sings!)

"Its All About You" Video with homosexual insinuation

Albanian Online Magazines like Yllpress.com or Shqipmedia.com, several comments on Youtube and Groups on Facebook claim that Juliana Pasha, this year's Albanian representive at the ESC, is promoting homosexual love. "She releases a man and hugs a woman (see pictures). This gives much room for interpretations", writes Yllpress.com. More and more people seem to react on this image of the clip. 

Juliana herself is marriaged and even if the producer of the Videoclip, Pali Kuke, tried to insert the statement "free love for everybody, no matter whether hetero or not", there is nothing the Albanian Press and people should get upset about. 

Homosexual people are still fighting for more rights in Albania, a country where the gay lobby still does not have as many rights as gays in other European states.

Latest Videos of Ledina and Besa

Two participants from the Albanian National Final "Festivali i Këngës" have presented us their new songs in the past weeks.

Ledina Celo - "Dangerous"

First there is Ledina Celo, the 2005 representive of Albania with the song "Tomorrow i go". With her latest song "Dangerous" she tries to get international attention. The dancefloor tune was added by none other than Scotty, a very well known DJ, famous for his house remix of the "The Black Pearl" soundtrack of the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean". The song didn't really bring her the longed international break through, but at least it can be seen as an international success, reaching the dancefloor-charts in Germany, Greece, Cyprus and other European countries.

Her accent can still be improved in my opinion, but we hope for more music from Ledina in near future.

               

Besa Kokedhima - "Kalores i nates"

Besa Kokedhima has participated in the Albanian NF 2009 with the song "Ajer" (Air) and was about to compete for the ticket to Oslo this NF, too. But, unfortunately, she decided to take back her participation right before the Festival kicked off. Her song for the National Final,  "Kalores i nates", much awaited by her fans, was now finally released due to her actual participation in the "Top Fest 7" with the very same song. Well, now we finally get to see what song we missed in the Festival in December. We doubt that it would have been such an 'studio/electronic' in the NF, where there is still the orchestra playing live. Nevertheless, a very nice song, which may had presented Albania in Oslo.

Arben: "Hello, my name is Arben, I'm 19 years old, Albanian, born and living in Germany. I always loved music, languages and geography and the Eruovision Song Contest seemed to match perfectly with my interests. My first ESC was in 2004, exactly the year Albania had entered this event, so we somehow entered the Eurovision together :) . In November 2007 I decided to start a blog for Albania at the ESC on blog.de, a german blog page (my English wasn't that advanced back then). With time the page also got many clicks from outside Germany. One major reason for that was that my page delivered the lyrics (+ translation into German) of the Albanian winning songs of the National Final in 2007, 08 & 09 first right first after their triumph. Until April 2010 the page had a total of 30.000 visits in 2 ½  years, even though it was "only" a German blog. The huge interest in my articles, especially in the months December (NF) and May (ESC), made me go this one step further now and start Albavision.tk-international. With a growing team of interested writers this page's gonna rock :D!"
 
Ole: "Hi, I am Ole and I am a 21 year old Norwegian. Like Arben, I have a big interest in music and languages, and also in different cultures. I have followed the Eurovision Song Contest for almost as long as I can remember. My interest has been growing more and more each year. I have been following the Festivali i Këngës for only a relatively short time, but it didn't take long until I became a big fan of the Albanian national final. I became friends with Arben in December 2009, right before the FiK final. I started blogging for AlbaVision in April when the page started blogging in English, at that time I also got the chance to blog live from the ESC in Oslo. I look forward to keep contributing with news and live reports in the future." 

Evelina: Hello I'm Evelina , a 17 year old albanian ,my biggest interest is music and always sought ways to get connected with other music fans .Let's say I'm a newbie in the eurovision arena as I've been watching eurovision only since 2009 , I wouldn't know anything about it if I didn't watch the daily news where they promoted the albanian entry in eurovision at that time ( Kejsi Tola - Carry Me In Your Dreams) and since then I've been trying to stay tuned with the latest information about eurovision , and of course I'm not gonna forget to share it with other fans .

Welcome to Albavision.tk

Hello Europe and the World!

This is Albavision.tk, the new (or better relaunched) website/blog about Albania (and Kosovo) at the Eurovision. Here you'll get the most recent news about everything that connects Albania with the Eurovision Songcontest: Translations of the national final songs, new videos of the albanian ESC stars, interviews of producers, songwriters and performers in the national final, exclusive articles and much, much more...

Until today (02.04.10) Albavision.tk was a german blog (-> Link), but now, after 2 and a half years, we are becoming international, because we want to reach even more people with exclusive details about everything that concerns the albanian entries at the ESC.

We are two editors (till now), Ole and Arben. We're both no native english-speaking, but we are going to give our very best to let the articles have an international standart in points of language. We are very thankful for every correction in the comments and we hope that we can form a lively community.

One thing has to be added: This is no Oikotimes in an albanian version, we do not tolerate discrimination of other cultures and countries and won't illustrate Albania as the ultimate country of Europe and the ESC. Articles may contain subjective thoughts, but they will never be written in a form, which appeals provocative or obstinate, this we promise. This is going to be a peaceful place where everyone has the right for his thoughts.
