Ledina Çelo, Albanian representative at the ESC 2005 in Kiew, is expecting her first baby. Since her marriage with Naim Kabashi, they live together in Germany. A baby was planned for a long time now, referring to old Interviews with Ledina, so one of her big wishes seems to finally come true. Ledina shows no preferences when it comes to the question of gender of the unborn and hasn't let herself be informed about it yet, only the health of the baby matters to her.

If the news about Ledina being back to Tirana to take part in many festivals as it was said thus may be false.
At least a come back to the ESC stage is rather unthinkable now.

News of the Albanian ESC Stars...

First news comes from the Albanian local magazine "Anabel", which held an Interview with Ledina Celo (Esc 05), who seems to have returned to Albania, after being part of a british dance show and recording the single "Dangerous" which was remixed by Scotty, a famous DJ.

In the interview she told the magazine that she would like to take part more in Albanian music competitions in near future. Whether the next "Festivali i kenges" belongs to one of these Festivals is yet unknown. Albavision.tk contacted Ledina and is yet waiting for a respond. Ledina Celo's come back in FK?

Frederik Ndoci

Second news comes from Frederik Ndoci (Esc 07) who is tonight giving his last concert in Velipoje (Northalbania) in the club "Kapiten Zhik" which after own statements more than 35.000 people visited this summer season, many also from Kosovo.

Two participants from the Albanian National Final "Festivali i Këngës" have presented us their new songs in the past weeks.

Ledina Celo - "Dangerous"

First there is Ledina Celo, the 2005 representive of Albania with the song "Tomorrow i go". With her latest song "Dangerous" she tries to get international attention. The dancefloor tune was added by none other than Scotty, a very well known DJ, famous for his house remix of the "The Black Pearl" soundtrack of the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean". The song didn't really bring her the longed international break through, but at least it can be seen as an international success, reaching the dancefloor-charts in Germany, Greece, Cyprus and other European countries.

Her accent can still be improved in my opinion, but we hope for more music from Ledina in near future.

               

Besa Kokedhima - "Kalores i nates"

Besa Kokedhima has participated in the Albanian NF 2009 with the song "Ajer" (Air) and was about to compete for the ticket to Oslo this NF, too. But, unfortunately, she decided to take back her participation right before the Festival kicked off. Her song for the National Final,  "Kalores i nates", much awaited by her fans, was now finally released due to her actual participation in the "Top Fest 7" with the very same song. Well, now we finally get to see what song we missed in the Festival in December. We doubt that it would have been such an 'studio/electronic' in the NF, where there is still the orchestra playing live. Nevertheless, a very nice song, which may had presented Albania in Oslo.
